Position Title: Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect, Client Care

Position Overview

The BI architect that will provide technical leadership for our ongoing various analytics projects.  The ideal candidate will have excellent client management and technical skills, will be able to take the technical ownership of their projects, and has experience delivering large scale DW and analytics projects.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Five (5) + years of experience in AX/D365 F&SC implementation and support
  • 5+ years of SQL Server (or comparable database) experience with BI/DW deployments
  • Knowledge of data modelling methodologies such as Kimble/Inmon
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI report development, governance, and security
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and solve undefined problems
  • Proven ability to work with and contribute to a virtual team of functional/technical consultants working from different locations (including offshore)
  • Possess adequate knowledge of technical issues to be able to triage appropriately and understand resource requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to speak with executive/senior level management
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and activities and drive them to completion
  • Effective multitasker who can work on a variety of issues at the same time
  • Experience with Data Architecture, Database Design including Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM) tools, processes, and governance
  • Document business requirements and technical architecture/design while translating complex requirements and designs for development, testing and implementation

  • Ability to ‘get things done’ across the breadth of own organization
  • Familiar with Agile implementation methodology
  • Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
  • Strong functional knowledge of D365 Finance and related applications
  • High level technical knowledge of D365 for Finance and related applications
  • Azure DevOps, LifeCycle Services, and experience in related technologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related experience
  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
  • Proven Business Intelligence Architecture experience
Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are:

  1. Troubleshoot and resolve support cases at the Architect or senior consultant level
  2. Ensure progression and resolution of open support tickets, escalating within Arbela or with client as required
  3. Understand requirements for analytic or reporting requests, author related Functional Design Documents, collaborate with technical resources for development work, and coordinate with client through to deployment
  4. Act as Project Manager and Solution Lead for client care clients
  5. Prepare monthly/quarterly client status reports for Director, Client Care
  6. Set up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for projects, review and approve timesheets
  7. Maintain and improve Arbela customer care team’s knowledge base
  8. Assist with implementation project work as required
