Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/AX - Technical Architect

Position Title: Technical Architect, D365 FO

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technical Architect, D365 FO will be responsible for designing technical solutions that adhere to modern design principles and best practices.  The candidate should be comfortable with reviewing solution designs and creating technical and integration designs as required.  The role will require the architect to scope work and provide estimates.  The technical architect with work with the project team to manage, delegate, and develop applications and specialized utility software to satisfy the customers’ specifications and success criteria. 

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Execute technical project delivery in a lead developer role with technical analysis, code review, and code performance optimization -- contributing to successful Dynamics implementations
  • Support clients’ needs with the right software and solutions as a technology advocate
  • Design and estimation of technical solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365, ERP projects with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
  • Establish and adhere to Enterprise architecture across functional lines and Microsoft Products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Technology, MIS, CIS or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience performing the job duties listed or in a related occupation of the following: Sr. Application Consultant or Manager, Lead Technical Consultant, Sr. Technical Consultant, Technical Analyst, Developer, Sr. Technical Architect, Applications Architect, Sr. Programming Consultant
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365, SharePoint, X++, SQL Server
  • Experience with two or more Microsoft Dynamics functional areas, preferably: Finance, Trade & Logistics, Warehouse Management, Sales, Marketing, Service, Production, Manufacturing, and other modules
  • Working knowledge of process development and industry specific best practices
  • Ability to organize, prioritize estimate and deliver tasks meeting deadlines
  • Confidence and willingness to expand technical prowess
  • Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Ability to adapt to constantly evolving technologies
  • Willingness to ‘get things done’, meet deadlines and multi-task effectively
  • Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management; degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
  • Experience with “rescue” projects that initially had significant technical issues
