Position Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 -  Senior Project Manager
Location: North America — Southern California and Mid-West preferred

Reports To: Director, Project Management

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the success of Dynamics implementations across our client base. You will also be contributing to Arbela’s continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of project governance, project management, and services delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Arbela project delivery team, providing end-to-end project management
  • Directly interact with customers as their main point of contact
  • Plan activities, resources, scope, goals, and deliverables that support our customer’s business goals and solution delivery
  • Track progress against deliverables; track project cost against the project budget; adjust the project plan as required, and provide regular status reporting to project leadership
  • Resolve conflicts and issues with the goal of improving and maintaining positive relationships; mitigate issues and/or escalate appropriately to management
  • Leverage and ensure the delivery team is following Arbela’s Implementation Methodology and tools
  • Provide ongoing input to the delivery practice through suggestions and implementations of practice improvements
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ of experience as a Project Manager, at least 5 of which delivering ERP/CRM/SCM solutions within the Microsoft platform, including Dynamics 365 
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and activities and drive them to completion
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly regarding anticipating and solving problems or issues before they occur or become critical
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, training, customer relationship and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and nebulous environment with limited direction
Additional Qualifications & Skills
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics functionality and infrastructure
  • Experience in project estimation and phase breakdown of work programs
  • Experience “turning around” projects that initially had significant delivery or technical issues
