InsideView is a sleek plugin that is embedded in the sales workflow so sellers and marketers can quickly find the data, whenever they are using the Dynamics 365 Sales form. This allows them to get the intelligence they need to close deals much faster.

You will find the Insights pane on your CRM accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities form. Here you will see that this pane pulls in the company, contact and social data from thousands of updated sources.
Clicking to the right of the company name will get you a quick infographic about the company. You can quickly view the address, phone, website, revenue and other related data of your account.
At the bottom there are a few buttons which all relate to the record which are Insights, Research, Find Contacts and Family Tree.
Insights button will show you all the key contacts found in the organization including news feeds.
Research will show you industry information about the company, similar accounts if you have any and financial statement. The financial statements are displayed as a graphical representation of the revenue, net income profit margins for the years.
Find Contacts will bring up all relevant contacts within the company ranging from Directors to CIO and others. These are most likely contacts you have not yet entered into the CRM system so you have the ability to add contacts on the fly. To add a new contact, simply click the name on the record and click Add Contact to CRM.
Family Tree will show a complete family tree of the company starting from the parent company. You will get information of other companies found in the tree as well as any acquisitions by the parent company if applicable.
